Little Carter…what a handsome guy he is. He was a dream to shoot…even with all the hic-ups. According to mom that happened quite often in the womb. =)
He has the most darling room with turtles and Mom and dad are so excited to have him here that they were beaming with happiness.

Patricia | Dallas senior photography
Patricia is a senior at Frisco High School in Frisco, Texas this year. She will graduate with my daughter in June. I was thrilled when I got a call from her mom telling me that Patricia wanted me to do her senior photos. I have known Patricia and her mother now for several years..in fact her mom was my daughter’s choir instructor in middle school. It’s so fun to watch these girls grow up into beautiful young women. Patricia is an amazing golfer, she plays the violin and still makes time for her studies and friends.
summer fun! | Dallas family photographer
I absolutely LOVED this session. I know when mom reads this she’s going to think I’m crazy because it was SO hot and mom and dad were working hard to help with the kids, but just look at them! What beautiful kiddos and I just loved the bright and fun accessories that mom brought along. That mask from New Orleans is a total “keeper”!!!! Brigette….you have so precious kiddos. =) Thanks for coming out so early in the morning and roughing the heat with me.
Two Monkeys Fall 2010 Preview | Dallas Commercial Photographer
I met up with Karen, the fabulous designer and brains behind Two Monkey’s clothing boutique. Not only is she my friend, but she’s an AMAZING designer as well. I can’t wait for every new collection to come out just to see what’s she’s come up with this time. And I have to say that she outdoes herself over and over again. These two new collections from the Fall line are the Woodbury and St. Croix. The Woodbury Collection evokes Fall memories of the time Karen spent living in Connecticut. Greens, yellows, reds and browns all make a statement in this beautiful collection! The St. Croix Collection encompasses rich pinks, blacks and browns. They are fun and flirty, sophisticated and pretty! So go check them out! You are sure to fall in love with these collections which are now available in her Etsy store. www.twomonkeysdesigns.etsy.com
Just having some FUN! | Dallas family photographer
The 2010-2011 school year is just around the corner and we’ve been gearing up with cheer camp, school supply shopping, SCHOOL shopping, etc., so I thought it would be fun to take Sydney (the blonde) and one her friends, Bryton, out for some fun pictures before things get too much more crazy with football games, homework, cheer practices, and LIFE. They had been at cheer camp all week and just gotten their new uniforms for the new junior high that that they will be attending in our district this year. These two are such “GOOFS” in front of the camera…if you can’t already tell. =)

find your style | Dallas Photographer
I could not have said it better myself! A friend of mine and extraordinary lady, Valerie Koop, explains finding her style on her blog. I had to borrow what she said because it is so TRUE! Together. as client and photographer, with a collaborative effort the possibilities are endless!
Taylor and Amanda | Dallas senior photographer
Well…what do I even say about this post? I had an AMAZING time getting ready for this shoot. Taylor, my daughter, had mentioned to me a while back that she wanted to shoot her senior photos in the mountains…so who better than to call on, my friend and fellow photographer, Angie! We were also joined by another one of our good friends from L.A., Lisa…so glad you could come. Since I was having my friends join me…we thought it might be fun to have one of Taylor’s friends come along with her as well…fun time for ALL.
I spent MONTHS getting ready for this one….finding just the right outfits, props, accessories, I even spray painted a pair of shoes yellow because I couldn’t find what I needed last minute….kind of messy…but so worth it. I had also had this vision of a chandelier hanging from a tree, so I went out and found the perfect chandeleir for the shoot. Well…when I found out that it was going to cost me twice as much as I paid for the thing to ship it to Utah…I had to quickly turn to plan “B”. I called my cousin in Salt Lake and told her what I was looking for and she found it!!! The new chandelier was even MORE perfect than the first. So all in all, I think all of the hard work paid off….because the most important thing from this experience is that Taylor had the time of her life…and it didn’t hurt that I did too. I am so VERY proud of my daughter and I wanted this to be an extra special time for us. We spent the day before we left getting mani’s and pedi’s, shopping for last minute details, etc. What more could a mom ask for. =) After two days of shooting, lots of clothing changes in the middle of no where, make up appointments, etc…I could NOT be happier with the images. I thought I would include a little video from the session that I made…the resolution is NOT great at all…but it’s still kind of fun.

itty bitty | Dallas Newborn Photographer
What a beautiful session! I’ve always wanted to do a newborn session outside and mom and dad were so cool and totally up for it. The weather was AMAZING for the middle of July here in Texas…we even got a visit from a little lady bug. Little Miss Riley could NOT have been sweeter, she was a perfect little angel.
The Escobar Family | Dallas family photographer
I was so excited when Cathy contacted me to do their family photos this Summer. I shot Adrienne’s senior pictures over a year ago and absolutely LOVED working with mom and daughter…so I knew that their family session wouldn’t be any less than amazing. As you can see…it wasn’t! We had so much fun. Oh, and did I mention what good sports this family is???? I made them meet me down in Deep Ellum at 7AM to get things started. They had just gotten home from San Antonio the night before and were exhausted…but you would never have known. They were right on time, dressed and ready to go. Thanks you guys….it was so wonderful meeting everyone. =)
Enjoy your little sneak peek….Lesley and Adrienne, I know you’ve been waiting patiently.
